With four decades of experience in all aspects of consulting, business operations and project development, Gregg brings a unique perspective to each assignment. His business experience includes the full business cycle of founding firms, profitable growth, sale and transition. A licensed Civil Engineer he works with national and regional clients on the planning, design and permitting for all types of projects throughout the United States.

Additional experience

Gregg Mikolaities, PE founded August Consulting, PLLC in June 2017 after the successful sale and transition of the award winning Appledore Engineering in 2011. Gregg co-founded Appledore Engineering in 1987 and successfully lead Appledore for 23 years. For over 20 years Gregg provided consulting services to a regional supermarket chain that grew from 29 stores to over 200.

August Consulting services focus on Gregg's passions from his extensive experience as a civil engineering consultant and firm owner. August Consulting works with national and regional developers and retailers so has an excellent understanding of their requirements.

In addition, Gregg has developed site design standards for major retailers and has given presentation on site design standards, site selection, and permitting projects.

Entrepreneur

As an entrepreneur who has been involved with the founding of multiple businesses including two consulting firms, real estate partnerships and an antique/home décor business, Gregg has an excellent understanding of the challenges that businesses face.
